BLACK RIVER
I am thrilled to share the launch of BLACK RIVER, a captivating new sub-brand by Spa Bolton. This project was a unique opportunity to delve into the rich history of Bolton and create a branding concept that resonates with the area's heritage and natural beauty.
The Inspiration
Did you know that the village of Bolton was once called Willard's Mills, and the Missisquoi River was known as Black River? This historical backdrop served as the inspiration for BLACK RIVER, a brand that embodies the essence of tranquility and nature.
The "Spa in a Box" Concept
BLACK RIVER offers a unique "spa in a box" experience, designed to transport you to a state of deep relaxation. This collaboration between Spa Bolton and Savonnerie des Diligences brings together local businesses passionate about well-being and nature.
What's Inside the Box?
Spa Access for Two: Enjoy a day at Spa Bolton with access for two, including robe and towel rentals.
Eucalyptus Body Scrub (120ml): A handmade, moisturizing sugar scrub that gently exfoliates the skin, leaving it soft and rejuvenated.
Peppermint and Ylang Ylang Massage Candle: Made with organic soy wax, sunflower oil, and cocoa butter, this candle can be used for ambiance or as a warm massage oil.
Orange, Cedar & Magnolia Hand and Body Soap: Naturally scented with essential oils, this gentle soap awakens the senses, promotes meditation, and provides a comforting sense of well-being.
The Creative Process
For this project, I had the pleasure of designing the logo and packaging, shooting the video commercial, and producing the product photography. Each element was crafted to reflect the serene and natural qualities of BLACK RIVER.
